About

Recruit is a free site for learning about a recruiting or staffing firm before you reply. It is for every industry. Slothworks is the site owner's side project. The site is built and moderated with automated bots under a human owner.

What this project covers

• Firm profiles drawn from public records.
• User-submitted evidence that is checked automatically and clearly labeled.
• A transparent firm rating, with each point tied to a cited fact.
• Connections between firms, search, and a way to ask for research or a refresh.
• Limited charts, firm-level rankings, and a path to dispute or correct a listing.

The public site this weekend is informational. Ratings are not published yet. Sourced facts and research requests are not open yet.

What this project does not cover

• User reviews or star ratings.
• Naming, profiling, rating, labeling, ranking, or making a claim about an individual recruiter.
• Subjective commentary.
• Payments.
• Job matching.
• A worker-to-employer portal.
